I have what I think to be this record but it has a 3 next to the RIAA! The cover certainly is pasted on but I don't see the turtleneck triangle! Help me with identification please!

The record I have has an Apple Label On it, Didn't see it in the pictures, Just a variation, or is it a special version?

What number is on the back next to RIAA. Mine is a 2 which makes me think potentially a butcher cover underneath. Also mine has a music note looking thing

i have a 1966 black / rainbow label stereo Yesterday..And Today from Mexico but the cover is from a 1971 edition.
Has anyone ever scene the original 1966 cover with the "NEW IMPROVED.....STEREO" legend on the top front?
If so where and is it for sale. -
I usually have no issue finding an item here. In this case, I have gone through this "Y and T" listing at least three times and still cannot find this stereo cover in a peeled state ( third state). Anyone ?? Thanks in advance!

Edited 5 years agoI have an original 1966 album cover. It has an accompanying leter of authentication by Perry Cox. Here is the exact wording from that letter.
VINTAGE 1966 BEATLES "YESTERDAY AND TODAY" STEREO ALBUM COVER WITH FIRST STATE ISSUE FRONT COVER SHEET SLICK.
VINTAGE 1966 U S BEATLES 'YESTERDAY AND TODAY' STEREO ALBUM COVER WITH A TRUE 'FIRST STATE' STEREO ORIGINAL FRONT COVER SLICK/SHEET. THIS EXAMPLE HAS HAD AN ORIGINAL FIRST STATE SLICKED ADHERED OVER THE TRUNK COVER SLICK BELOW IT. SMALL AREAS OF THE SLICK BELOW CAN BE SEEN AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT AND BOTTOM LEFT. (SEE IMAGES) IMPOSSIBLE TO DETERMINE EXACTLY WHEN THIS WAS TOOK PLACE. BUT IT'S CLEAR IT WAS LONG AGO. PERHAPS EVEN PERFORMED NEAR THE TIME OF RELEASE OR NOT LONG AFTER FOR EXAMINATION OR PERHAPS BY RECORD COMPANY EMPLOYEES . IT'S ALSO POSSIBLE IT WAS DONE LATER. IT IS VERIFIED AS AN ORIGINAL 1966 ISSUE FIRST STATE FRONT "BUTCHER" COVER SHEET SLICK. OVERALL CONDITION IS A VERY NICE 'VERY GOOD ++' TO 'NEAR MINT-' SOME LIGHT PROPER AGING .SEAMS ARE INTACT.
THE AUTHENTICATION WAS PERFORMED 10/10/2018
THIS BUTCHER COVER ALBUM SLEEVE IS FOR SALE. -
Mine has matrix-nrs. I can't find here:
ST1-2553-A5 and the triangle with I AM in it.
ST2-2553-B6 and the triangle with I AM in it
It has nothing (no nr.) left or right of the RIAA logo on the back cover.
The orange Capitol '66 OIS is included.
The trunk picture is pasted and has a lighter colour than the rest of the front cover.
If someone knows more about this version (Trunk or unpeeled) I would be glad about a message.

Did they make these with stamps for rings in radio broadcast straight from the press? I'm curious if the copy I have was re-wrapped. It's in immaculate condition and I don't want to open it up if I don't have to.
