Seller
I AM AWAY ON A MEDITATION RETREAT WITHOUT ACCESS TO THE INTERNET UNTIL 6/9/2025. IF THERE IS AN ISSUE W/ YOUR ORDER PLEASE BE PATIENT FOR MY RETURN.
Welcome
Thanks for your interest in my rare and collectible music recordings. If you have any questions about my policies or a particular item please message me. Please find my shipping costs and policies below.
Minimum Order
There is a $10 minimum for all orders. If you are under and want to cover the difference message me. There are fixed fees on orders that result in losing money on small orders. This minimum allows me to continue to operate
Shipping Costs
I offer $8 flat rate shipping USPS Media for any size order.
Shipping Days
Your order will typically go out the following Monday or Friday after payment is received. Payments must be received by 8 AM PST those days to be included. Occasionally it will take additional time to process orders.
Shipping Materials
All vinyl records are shipped securely in cardboard boxes specifically designed for records. All non-sealed records will be shipped outside of the jacket. In addition all records will be shipped in a poly outer sleeve that you can use to protect your purchase. CDs are shipped securely in specially designed CD mailers. They offer good protection but I can't be responsible for case damage in transit. Cassettes and DVD may be shipped in bubble mailers, padded envelopes or cardboard boxes based on order size. Again case damage could happen. If you want insurance please ask prior to shipment.
Note On Payments
I will only ship to addresses that match addresses on Paypal s or are otherwise covered by Paypal Seller protection. If you place an order that does not meet these criteria I will refund all but the fees that Paypal will charge me for these transactions so please make sure you follow these simple rules.
Cancellations
No cancellations on orders after payment is received. As soon as all fees are waived for these I will cancel. But don't hold your breath.
Grading
As a collector foremost I'm extremely aware of how subjective and varying record grading can be. Because of this I think it's very important to clearly outline how I grade my records so that there is a clear understanding with my customers prior to ordering. All of my grading is done conservatively according to the Discogs/Goldmine Guidelines. I will only use M as a condition on vinyl (not the jacket) for sealed records. I also make use of the VG++ or EX grade. I find this is important as there is a pretty large range between a M- record and a VG+ one. If a record or jacket is VG++/EX then you will see this mentioned in the notes and the grade assigned in Discogs will be VG+ (even though that record might be very close to M-. In addition sometimes I will use strong/weak designators on grades to indicate a record that is close to a higher or lower grade. All records are visually graded directly under the right brightness of light (either too little or too much you miss defects) but they may be play tested as well (to check certain vinyl defects for potential issues). If a record is play tested and the grade is affected by the play test this will be indicated in the notes. All MAJOR jacket (e.g. cut corners, drill holes, sawmarks, writing, seam splits, etc...) defects will be indicated in the notes. MINOR jacket defects (e.g. corner bumps, wrinkles, etc...) may or may not be mentioned in the notes explicitly but the grade will be impacted accordingly. When grading I may use any one of several common abbreviations to describe items concisely. If an abbreviation is alien to you please send me a message and I will explain in detail. If you ever want me to play test a record then just shoot me a message and I will do so ASAP. As can be expected I sometimes miss something when grading. If this is the case please me before leaving negative so we can discuss an amicable resolution.
Matrix Pressings
It is the buyers responsibility to confirm matrix level information prior to sale. I do my best to keep my listings accurate to the matrix level but I can't guarantee that all listings are accurate. Refunds will not be granted on matrix level differences.
International Orders
Due to Discogs change to automated shipping it's just too much work to configure. If you have over $100 in goods email me at [email protected].
Refunds/Returns
If there is a problem with your order please me prior to leaving negative . Our #1 goal is to have happy return customers so we will work with you, to the best of our ability, to ensure that this is the case. That being said refunds are subject to the following restrictions:
1. A full refund including shipping costs will be provided if the WRONG item is shipped. It is the buyer's responsibility to package the incorrect item and ship it securely in the same packaging it was sent. Refund will be processed when the returned item is received
2. A full refund will be provided due to differing grading opinions. It's the buyer's responsibility to package the item and ship it securely in the same packaging it was sent. Refund will be processed when the returned items is received. Return shipping costs will be refunded in cases where I made a mistake in grading. Sealed records are assumed M. No shipping cost refund on sealed records with slight warps that do not affect play. Return shipping costs WILL NOT be refunded for jackets or vinyl graded VG or worse. Grading of these far less than perfect items is way too subjective. If you have concerns about an item in this condition please ask for pictures or play grades prior to payment.
3. The buyer is responsible for paying the cost of shipping for all returns (except the cases noted above)
4. Buyer is responsible for packaging the item(s) securely in the same packaging they were sent in and paying for return postage
5. Seller reserves the right to include insurance or ed mail costs in the shipping price for any order (typically large or high priced orders)
6. No refunds / returns will be accepted more than 14 days after the buyer receives the item
7. No refunds / returns on matrix level mislistings. Buyer is responsible for checking prior to sale
