I don't really understand the reviews so far. I have the CD and now also the record. The record is mixed loudly, but not in such a way that I can hear sibilance or other overdriving. I sometimes have the suspicion that many people's hi-fi setups are not quite right and that's why they have so many sibilants and overloads. It is enough if the turntable is not really straight and the anti-skating is not adjusted correctly. What bothers me about this record, however, are the relatively frequent pops and crackles, especially on the 2nd side, 4th song for about 10 seconds of loud pops and crackles. So I'm replacing this record for now to see if this is a pressing fault, or just sloppy workmanship. Unfortunately, I have this very often with MOV. When I have the new plate, I will report whether it was a success or a failure.

Cover quality is embarrassing. This should not have been approved. As nice as the disc looks (although sound is far from great), there was clearly no effort put in making the cover look good. It's is pixelated (front and back) and even worse: it is so clearly a scan of the cd booklet, you can vaguely see lyrics appear on her face, which probably was visible in the cd booklet due to thin paper. They could have at least photoshopped that out?

I would agree with yacooob, in the louder parts there is distortion and the sound quality is by far not as nice as in the quieter parts. But the dynamic range of the CD has a value of 6 and the vinyl has a value of 12. While the CD is not listenable at all, the vinyl is a huge step in the right direction.

Edited 2 years agobit of sibilance in places but the sound is very open, sounds a lot better than CD/digital. they have used poor quality scans for the art which isn't ideal.
edit: after listening for a while it almost sounds like it was mastered too loudly, the quieter sections sound very separated and clear whereas the louder parts tend to get lost in each other unfortunately
