silly that this release barely got any copies sold in europe. 2 years later and there's still an abundance of them in the US
-
Sounds great and looks pretty cool. One complaint is that it has to be the quietest record I own. Other than that 10/10
-
If anyone has inner sleeves or even up my sleeves they don't want or need for whatever reason let me know.

this pressing sounds pretty good. nothing mindblowing since jenny death could really benefit from 3 vinyl sides but it still kicks as much ass as it should. this pressing is still missing death grips 2.0 but i’m just glad it finally got repressed.

Was handed a square shaped object in a gift bag yesterday while exchanging gifts. I saw the shape of the present inside and quickly dentified that it was an LP in a media mailer. Then I saw the tag, which said that it was from my 84 year old grandmother, who is across the country currently, and will remain until spring. So I started to wonder soon after what record she possibly could have sent me. Usually, her gifts are noticeably frugal, but generally still useful. Needless to say, I was speechless when I got the cardboard open and found this. She had some help from my mother, clearly. But it didn't make it any less funny and memorable.
Both records came out of the sleeves squeaky clean, which is nice and not always a given. Even with sealed records, which this one was, prior to my receiving it. I am seeing no black swirl on either LP, like a few others have reported here.
Listened to both sides of neighbors yesterday, and just started Jenny a few minutes ago. NOTM was absolutely flawless, as has Jenny so far. The first side is nearly over now, as I add more text to this in random places, and I don't have a single bad thing to say about the three sides I've heard thus far.
Spinning on an AT LP7, with upgraded VMN740ML cartridge, which goes to that 70$ fosi tube phono preamp from Amazon, with the 20$ Riverstone Audio GE upgrade tubes, also found on Amazon.
There really is no contest, compared to the lossless digital options I had before this pressing. Maybe I will do a little bit of a/b testing once I've had some more time with the album.
Comparing vinyl rips that I've had forever to the shiny new Christmas present is likely going to have a little bit of bias, at least. If I do that, I'll do my best to report back. -
I don't know if this was a mistake but my Jenny Death disc has a slight black marble in the red. Anyone else's like this?
