Great to see this on vinyl... hoping for volume 2 before long.
Sound quality isn't as good as the Lost Tapes EPs though... -
Edited 4 years agoreally nice to see this on wax finally.to be honest i wish they would have put more effort in this vinyl release due to the price.
front, back and label cover are pretty boring.there are no credits nor recording year information.most of the tracks are recorded between 91-92 tho.right before they were getting a lot of attention in 93 with "93 till infinity" and "no more need for alarm" and established the distinctive hiero sound.
some tracks have a good quality and some are poor like on the tape or CD version.
i wish they would have made it a double lp vinyl with all the tracks(20 without the radio show recording) from the 96 tape.
imo a must have for every hiero fan

Edited 4 years agoSounds like it was cut directly from my old cassette tape... which is exactly how I wanted it to be.
It makes sense that they couldn't include Live On WKCR, but I'm hoping it'll show up on Vol. 2 -
I really hope they bring out Vol.2 aswell, feat. "souls of mischief - our secret". my favorite unreleased hiero gem from the 90s :)
