Gossamery translucent array of synthetic glitches and pulses continuously ear-tickles, while auxiliary voice fragments keep on glimpsing along with mesmerizingly oscillating break-ups, ephemerally flickering introspections and bizarrely twisting hisses. Sadly cadenced textures juxtapose with cyber-tech driven laid-back downtempos, hypnotically helixing buzzes intervene with languidly cinematic reflections, strangely scattered carvings confront with calmer nostalgic curtains, diaphanously galloping dubby opiates interplay with biotically fizzy tranquilities, yet always infused with weirdly ascending, peculiarly disunited and organically enveloping granular patterns.

Creative palette of Les Scott's sonic signatures reveals all its extraordinarily entertaining authenticity. 48-minute "Controlled Substances" album, as his magnum opus, showcases Edinburgh-based project Neu Gestalt at the very top of his exotically fuelled and manifoldly scintillating illbient electronica. The CD is out on Scottish Alex Tronic Records since February 8th, 2019, it comes as a very impressive 6- digipak, designed by the artist himself under his Neu[e] imprint with strikingly immersing photographs taken by Jose Snook.
