A beautiful mixture of New Wave and soft rock, this song should’ve peaked much higher than its minor No. 35 Hot 100 showing in 1984. With a killer saxophone riff, wonderful vocal work by Deborah Iyall, and lyrics about depression and trying to stay positive, this is a true lost minor Top 40 gem from the streets of San Francisco!
Great music video as well, which combines animation, paint, and set designs.
