Sonic Youth – Dirty

The plastic outer sleeve on my copy has yellowed big time since I bought it (2003).

I also just purchased a copy of this repress and it didn't come with any inserts. May need a separate entry?

The runouts match but mine came without the printed inserts. Maybe someone on GZ forgot to put them in.

Que bien que suena esto, no le tenia fe. X lo general Universal falla, pero acá el sonido es buenisimo! Como sonic Youth se merece.

I've yet to own a record pressed by Sonopress that doesn't sound fantastic and this is no exception, absolutely stunning pressing that transmits all the energy and fire of Sonic Youth straight into your ears. I understand there is a very good reissue of this which i imagine would save you a lot of money but if you can pick up one of these OGs in good condition then do, you will not be disappointed.

Just to jump on the bandwagon here... Easily one of the best pressings of any record I have in a large collection. Almost zero surface noise and a great dynamic range for a vinyl record. And of course it's Sonic Youth in their prime. I still see a few of these sealed and as new in record shops everywhere. Grab one if you can (but have some spare HDPE sleeves to switch out for the scratchy paper ones this comes in off the shelf).

I love Dirty which I purchased on release and I love this even more, the b side tracks like Generic, Hendrix Necro etc just fit seamless with the original album sequence, an absolute great box set
