      For once, I THINK the cut on this 12" plays at the right speed. Other Chic Organisation ones like Good Times, Le Freak and maybe a couple of others need to be taken back -2 on my Technics pitch adjustment. But this one seems right.

      Meanwhile. What need I say? End to end, proper music. Straightforward but sophisticated with it. This was pop back in the day. Now it sounds like high art.

        The B-side contains a lesser-known, and therefore often overlooked, gem from the Sister Sledge songs.

        Unlike the UK pressing of Sister Sledge - We Are Family which is the only other 12" with "Easier To Love" on its flip, this Australian 🇦🇺 edition has always been pretty hard to come by (especially in NM condition) for some odd reason, despite featuring the mega multi-seller and party smash "We Are Family". In any case, both 12"s are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😊👍.

        ☝️BTW: The 1980 Lovers Rock (Sister Sledge song 🫶.

        Both covers have grown in popularity over the years. The original presses are highly sought-after today, which is also reflected in their ever increasing prices...
