Philip Casson

British TV director, and producer. He initially began training as a dancer, and performed as both a dancer and choreographer with the Ballet Montmartre, before moving into television in the early 1960s. He is largely associated with comedy, but over the last five decades has also worked on TV films, children's TV, documentaries, drama, soap operas, and light-entertainment programmes, including: Eastenders, Casualty, The Bill, Brookside, Macbeth, and Frost On Sunday.

His musical credits only seem to extend as far as The Muppets, however, he has also worked for/with Demis Roussos.
